(24 votes, average: 9.04 out of 10)

This is our first try at actually creating a content for Sequence Magazine. We have worked hard to put this video together from all the material we could find on the net. This is a 40 minute making of of Avatar plus bonus on-set footage and a 5 minute music video sound-track by Leona Lewis. This video has a lot of new footage that was not included in the last 20 minute Making of Avatar that we aired with a week ago.

We don’t put this as a featured content, as this is a first try or test if you will, on creating video content. Hope you like it and enjoy it. Also note that this is not an official making-of, it is something that Sequence Magazine staff had put together from all the material available freely on the Internet. We just chose the most interesting videos and edited it to create an organized “film” about Avatar. That’s it!

We’d also appreciate kind comments, feedbalck and star ratings of this material. This will help us guide to create better videos for you guys!

I don’t see the point of those so-called ‘Making of’ that 90% all about presenting the characters and the story

if you haven’t seen the movie : it will spoil it all…
if you have.. come on… you already know about the story and the characters…

I really regret the time when Making Ofs were real Making ofs… showing people shooting scenes, showing effects as they were made, etc… actually showing people making the movie… Those were made for the people who had already seen the movie so that they could get a feel of how it was done.. and not to promote the movie ! :(

Looks like that’s all there was from Fox.com (I went to their site) Looks like all it was, was the 3-minute seg you have. Wish they had done a longer seg with Jim, Sam and Zoe. Keep up the good work!

  • Dennis Sedov says:

Yep – that’s all there is. We tried to find really everything that is freely available on the net without breaking any copyright issues.
